Perhaps inevitably, Canon's huge sprawling stand is one of the busiest at Photokina, with the EOS 20D and EOS 1Ds Mark II drawing the biggest crowds. Canon is demonstrating the WFT-E1 wi-fi attachment for the 1Ds II in live photo shoots - and it certainly seems to be working... In the compact camera area most of Canon's recently announced models are making their public debut, from the ultra compact PowerShot SD20 (Ixus i5) in four colors to the SD200/300 (Ixus 40 and 50) and the A400 (again in four colors). Also on display in the large 'shootout' area are the G6 and S70 7 megapixel compacts, plus the A85 and A95, which update the hugely popular A70 and A80 models. Last but not least, digital SLR users got their first hands-on experience of two new EF-S lenses, the 17-85mm F4.5-5.6 IS and the super wide 10-22mm F3.5 - 4.5, and the new Speedlite, the 580EX.
