The resident jay here the Footies. He and his mate get a real kick out of harassing their fellow avians, dive bombing 'em and squawking loud enough to wake the dead.

A natural born clown, our Lil Boo has got to be the cheeriest, most happy go lucky creature I've ever met. There was a quote in the Robin Williams film" Patch Adams" where Williams' character was described as someone who suffered from "excessive happiness"....that's our Boo to the letter. Morning noon and night she's always on the go, bouncing round the house looking for a foot to attack, a puffy ball to molest or a good solid romp with another member of our feline 5 pack like a wind up toy who's spring never runs down. She's an endless sort of amusement and joy and we're glad to be a part of her "pride".

Blooming flowers are rather scarce during Winter, so when this plucky lil fella hit the jackpot on my neighbor's hedge, he went slightly overboard with the collecting and found that he couldn't get airborne again. Every time he'd try, he'd list about like a helicopter in a windstorm then fall back onto the bloom, losing half his bundle in the process...by the time I'd gotten this shot, he'd already crash landed about 5 times and was pretty much exhausted. He eventually made it though...tough little critters, boy!

A close-up study of my Siosio..she's always had this intensity about her, especially the eyes. My spouse calls it her 1000 year stare cos she has an ageless gleam in her eye as if her soul has been around for a millennia.

...don't you? Another gorgeous little ball of fluff from a Petsmare adoption event. That look of hope and anticipation in her eyes as she watched people walking by really tugged at the heartstrings...so much so that she ended up going to a new home about an hour after I shot this.
