Flash output compensation is similar to exposure compensation and allows you to preset an adjustment value for the flash output power. Some digital cameras allow you to set this value using the familiar EV range (+/-2 EV), others simply have "high, normal, and low" settings. This feature is useful to compensate when the cameras flash metering was not perfect and caused under- or overexposure. |
