Pre-PMA 2003, 09:00 GMT 06:00 GMT: Fujifilm has today announced the new Finepix 410 Zoom. This is the first Fujfilm digital camera to utilize the SuperCCD HR (High Resolution) technology, although not in its six megapixel guise, the 410 Zoom has a three megapixel SuperCCD HR sensor (which creates a six megapixel output image). The F410 Zoom is clearly a development of the F401 Zoom design, with the same three times optical zoom lens and body design. The F410 also comes with a supplied PictureCradle docking station.

Fujifilm announces FinePix F410 Zoom: the first digital camera to feature Fourth Generation Super CCD HR technology

Fujifilm announces the arrival of the FinePix F410 Zoom, and with it, proof that you no longer need a large camera to achieve high resolution images.

The FinePix F410 Zoom, successor to last year's hugely successful FinePix F401 Zoom, is the first camera to showcase Fujifilm's new Fourth Generation Super CCD HR (High Resolution) technology, and merges style with incredible resolution to create a true all-rounder.

With this perfectly formed camera, Fujifilm has taken the petite size and ultra-smart design of its predecessor, and added Super CCD HR technology to create a stylish camera capable of achieving even higher resolution images. Already assured to win people over with its with sleek metal finish casing, cool blue flashing lights and protective sliding lens cover, the FinePix F410 Zoom offers 50% more pixels than the FinePix F401 Zoom.

Taking big strides forward in sensor design and manufacture, the FinePix F410 Zoom heralds the arrival of a new range of FinePix cameras capable of capturing even sharper picture detail. The FinePix F410 Zoom achieves sharp, high quality images and can realise 3 million effective pixels, producing 6 million recorded pixels, with a sensor the same size as its Third Generation Super CCD-based predecessor.

This stylish camera also boasts an AVI digital video mode for recording short film clips with sound.
