has today announced a new program designed to secure licenses with digital
imaging providers to use their technology. "FlashPoint has made significant

FlashPoint Initiates Aggressive Program to Protect Broad Digital Camera and Internet Photography Intellectual Property Portfolio
PETERBOROUGH, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 2001-- FlashPoint Technology, Inc., the creator of Digita®, the platform technology for wireless and digital imaging, today announced an aggressive program designed to secure license agreements with the industry's leading digital imaging providers.
The license program is designed to protect FlashPoint's substantial investment in intellectual property and will make available FlashPoint's patented digital photography technology to the marketplace.
As a result of significant, early investments in research and development, FlashPoint owns a portfolio of 50 issued and allowed patents related to digital photography and Internet imaging systems, with an even larger number of patents pending. FlashPoint's patented technology is widely used by digital photography providers.
The FlashPoint patent portfolio specifically addresses:
