Opinion: I'm quite happy with this camera. This is my
first Digital camera, though I have over 25 years experience with 35mm SLR camera. It comes with every thing you need,IE: from the software, docs, and all the cables you need no matter what PC platform you have. Picture quality is on pare with a simple 35mm camera.
Can be found for 224$ US before rebate!

Problems: Be prepared to buy AA alkaline batteries in bulk, really uses them up fast! The serial port connector in the camera body seats poorly causing the camera not to be found for downloading your images.

Opinion: I used this camera on a cruise recently. The pictures are very good and I like the fact I can archive them on the Cllik disk if I choose. I have an Iomega Clik drive on my PC, so I can easily access the pictures.

Problems: Battery usage is a problem. I solved it by purchasing a battery pack that connects to the ac adaptor. It's good for about 500 shots.

Opinion: The CL30 has been a very easy to use camera, with very high quality results. I've used it for a year now, and the performance has been flawless. It's obviously an entry level model, with only a 2X digital zoom, but well worth the $250 I paid for it.

Problems: None
