Canon PowerShot S230 (Digital IXUS v3)

Opinion: I am a big fan of Elph S200, but i returned it because of too much red eye. Even with red eye reduction terned on. I dont know what to do, overall the picture quality was great. I am waiting for this camera and hopefully there will be less red eye.

Opinion: My first digital camera is the Ixus V. Subsequently I changed to the Ixus V2 the moment it was made available in my country.
I've bought an adaptor from ckcpower.com and a Kenko 8x monoscope from the local cam store; all I can comment is that this combo works great, lest for minor inconveniences. (check out ckcpower.com!)
I love the added feature of having an adjustable shutter speed as well. I never use the flash a single time even during the night ever since then!

With the intro of the V3, my heart practically skipped a couple of beats, with excitement of course!
It's great to know that the new cam will have a higher pixel count as well as longer battery life. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Opinion: Has anyone tried the video mode with a high speed CF card?
The ad says you can capture up to 3 minutes long movies with a high speed CF card in this digcam.

Opinion: Just purchased at a great price. At techdepot, I paid only $369 for the camera and they have free shipping. Hard to beat that and it arrived in only 2 days.
