Opinion: What a great camera. If you are looking for stunning images in an ultra-compact camera, the SD20 comes through in spades. Very sharp, well-balanced images. Decent video.

The SD20--like the original SD10--has incredible macro. Very detailed and close. Just take the change out of your pocket and you won't even know it's on you.

A revolutionary digicam. Images can't get much better than this!

Problems: If you need an optical zoom, this is not the camera for you. It has an amazing 39mm fixed-focus lens...which is part of the reason that the images are so sharp and brilliant.

Opinion: Sensational carry everywhere camera!! I own Nikon SLR equipment and wanted an ultra small light-weight camera with the ability to take high quality images. Fast focus and wonderful images! A small histogram is shown at image review and the AI is "dead on" in auto mode. I run level adjustments in Photoshop and use a sharpening action to process the files. Tack sharp pictures and I am thrilled with this purchase. It came with a nice close fit leather pouch to carry this credit card size camera on the belt. A+ Canon!

Problems: No Problems!

Be sure to buy a large capacity SD card and a spare battery!

Some have noted that the camera needs a battery indicator. There is a low battery icon that shows just before you lose power. Other cameras I have owned have a similar indicator and it may be a funciton of the rechargeable battery to have a steep power "drop off".

Perhaps the next model will have RAW image capability?

Opinion: This is a Great little camera.Pictures are sharp. No soft edges.LCD screen is easy to see in bright sunlight.it's so small it fits in my shirt pocket,i carry it with me everyday.
I use a 512MB SD card.bought a extra battery buy haven't
needed it yet.It comes with a leather case that's really nice.I dont miss not having a zoom lens. That's what my G3
is for.I highly recommend this camera.

Opinion: Looked over camera in store and looks great, feels great. Not many features, however looks like great all around point and shoot camera. One to be able to carry around anywhere and not worry about bulkiness or being noticable.

The features that sold me are size, quality of prints and sharpness of lens.

Have ordered and cant wait to get it. Will post how it operates
and feels after useing it for a few weeks.

Well, recieved the camera about 1 week ago and have had a chance to put it thru its paces. Wow, I am impressed. It does exactly what I bought it for, great point and shoot, can take anywhere, very very sharp pictures and easy to use with a little study of instructions.

Was particularly impressed with sharpness of pictures and quality of focus. Used it on a tripod to take picture of some old pictures that needed touching up and they came out perfect. Focus was fantastic up close ( abou 6 inches from subject) Was able to reproduce and touch up cracks and so forth.

Over all the camera has gone far beyond my expectations and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a carry anywhere, reliable, easy to use camera.

Problems: Yep, there was a problem, even if it was small. The carring strap that came with the camera kept getting stuck to the velcro on the case and the nylon on the strap was being torn up by that happening. Finally, just took the strap off and discarded. Use the case to protect the camera, but the carrying strap is just extra baggage.
