Opinion: Saw it at the store...the Jpeg compressed files as the only option for storage, leaves a lot to be desired. For this reason alone, I will NOT purchase it.
Opinion: disappointing
Problems: Sad to say, Contax has not lived up to its name. Though the lens is no doubt amazing, the digital hardware and software must be terrible. Just bought one and will be returning it as there is absolutely terrible detail, and there is a 2sec wait after shooting one shot before you can shoot the next. Intollerable. The tripod mount is as far to the left as possible, vs. centered, meaning that the camera will topple when mounted on a mini tripod. Despite what I have read the user interface is horrible. The biggest issue is that the images look really really bad.
Opinion: There ain't many happy shops around here.
Opinion: Not sure how these people are able to judge construction, ease of use, value for the money if this one is not yet out.
