Opinion: My posting keeps getting truncated. I've posted the mini-review at http://www.zozo.org/850z.htm.

I've also posted images that compare the Epson PhotoPC 850Z to my Kodak DC-260. This page is located at
http://www.zozo.org/vs.htm.

I hope these images are useful.

Opinion: My first digital camera. Loaded with features. Zoom lens, USB, CompactFlash type II, Sun-assist LCD, Flash
Hotshoe, Built-in auto lens cover, Sound recording/playback , direct printing to Epson printers, etc etc etc. The
colors I'm getting with the camera are incredible. The printouts are great too.

Bye-Bye Photoma

Opinion: This is a very good quality camera. Great features.
-The USB is fast with the TWAIN direct support to Photoshop.
-The 49mm lens adapter is very handy.
-The flash postion is not that great.
-plastic Tripod thread!?!?! wtf?
-the LCD Daylight mode works great.

Problems: Mac software seems to hate OS 9

Opinion: Big camera. It feels like a modern SLR, with its plastic construction, comfortable and secure in my hand. Wonderful ergonomics. Very flexible. Many manual controls for experts and effective auto so beginners can take good pictures. Buttons and menu allow easy acess to everything. Pictures are a bit soft, but easily fixed with software, which I always do anyway to get color, saturation, contrast, etc. to my liking.
