Opinion: I have had the camera about two weeks now, and I'm still amazed at the detail of the pictures. I have already tried the Nikon 990, and the Olympus 3030, and the image quality is superior.

Problems: No problems, batteries last pretty long

Opinion: I have just upgraded from the excellent 850Z and I didn't think things could get better than that - they have!

Good optics, very sharp. The 3.4 mega pixel files do look better than 2.1

Problems: LCD colour is not accurate, but works better in daylight.
The case although a lot better than the 850Z case, is very tight.

Opinion: After weeks of searching and narrowing down the products, I was down to the 990, Olympus 3030Z and the Epson 3000Z.....the Epson was and still is the best buy with the most features. The others are excellent products but the Epson was a substantial camera, with a host of features that I wanted, and the ability to use add on lenses.
