Epson PhotoPC L-410

Opinion: I bought this camera based on the Epson name, figuring it would be a top notch camera. I have used 2mp cameras that take better quality photos than this unit. The problem appears to be in the lens design. At wide angle, the image quality is good. At full telephoto, the resolution is terrible from the center to the edges. The camera also has trouble focusing on a consistent basis, regardless of the lighting conditions. The camera was obviously designed for the occasional user as it lacks most features a serious amateur would want. I'll give this camera to my kids to use. I feel that for a few dollars more, there are much better camera choices. Sorry Epson, you have dropped the ball on this one. .
