Opinion: The construction of this camera particularly appealed to me, because there are two screens at the back, one for the image and one for the settings which can altered "in real time", so to speak, with the image still visible.

OK, the verticle camera hold took a bit of time to get used to, but for me it worked.

Images at the 6mp setting were mostly excellent.

This image, and the next three in the album, are examples.

Problems: Lack of fine setting at 6 million pixels.

Manual settings took me some time to get used to, but the handbook is very good. Full marks to Fuji for not making you download it from disc!

Opinion: I do have this camera nearly 2 years now and i must day: compliments to Fuji.
I used this camera as a 'holiday shoot-and-go' camera and it never fails to bring me some joy. Quick and neat, so to speak...
Another great pro: The flash.. superb for this kind of camera's as a fill-in flash....

Problems: All good? no there is one flow. The battery...
You need at least two to make an evening pictures of a party or so. maybe three if you use the flash continuasly...

Opinion: Small, light, with optical viewfinder so you can use it in the sun.

All the usual features, and some of the more sophisticated.

Problems: I found the menu system frustrating.

If you dont use it for a month the battery is flat.

BUT could not believe if you change the battery for a fully charged one, or just find it flat, ALL the settings are lost, it defaults to poorest settings, and you have to fight your way through the menu system to restore, date, time, resolution setting, exposure compensation etc etc.

My wife cant do that. Whats the point of a 6Mp camera when it defaults to 1Mp. Hmmmm....
