Opinion: High ISO = Faster Shutter - need better light conditions for 800+

HD Video 60fps

Lense cover which is great to protect lense

Panaramic great stitch feature

A mass of AUTO and MANUAL options on top dial

15x Optical zoom is clear and great but you need to adjust settings for fine picture and ISO starts at 800

I love the mini electric view finder its ideal for people who like to look into the shot and saves power.

Video is AVI and can b played straight to Windows Player no fuss and 3 settings HD down to 320 small all exellent viewing.

Crop setup and shot is great and if you keep clicking the crop button it gives different crop styles cool.

With the wide angle lense great close ups come with a super macro close-up feature which allow you to nearly touch the object with the camera.

This camera trully performs in every which way but loose - even the batteries seem to last.

My Dad's SLR Canon Camera is no match for this fuji even with his 60-300mm zoom.

I've used many cameras and had great results but for a small sensor I was amazed at the picure quality at all zoom ranges and Higher ISO's.

Feels Just like 1 million Dollars and a top end SLR with top end HD video

Recommend to anyone with or without budget Great, Great Camera and I not just saying that Argos it now!! lol

If you read all I put in here then your know why I give it 5 stars Great work Fuji.

Now all you need is the same stuff mounted on a bigger sensor! he hee

Problems: Not really a problem but need to wait for focus on far away objects

Opinion: Exelent longzoom camera, but need alot of light.
Image qalitie is good, however alot of noise reduction is aplied to the pictures even at ISO 64
for close shots, people, objects it is not an problem, but for landscape thads another story.

The camera focus is to slow to take sport pictures.By the time you get an focus lock, the object is gone.

The FZ35 is alot faster, however cost double.
The S-1600 is capable of exelent pictures as long you stay at ISO 64-100 abouve thad detail is alraidy gone.

But you get smoot pictures in low iso,and the colors are great.
Also the camera is sharper then the panasonic output.

but the pictures detail is alot more then on the panasonic.
Ok there is some noise in FZ-35 even at lowes iso but detail is mush better.
This Fuji perform verry wel in good light.
but everything is sayed, not good in lower light.

The lcd and viewfinder is exelent for sutch an low cost camera, and batterie live seem to last forever.
The lens is exelent, but at 27 Mm the right side get blurie however CA is verry low, almost not existend, but at 27 mm there is some corner softness visible ,somtimes in bad wether visible at normal view on your monitor, things get better in good light.

Abouve ISO 200 the camera pictures are of low qalitie, noise reduction is so high, thad detail is lost, and there is no raw on the camera, nor anny noise settings.
Video is also not the strong point of this camera,it is good in good light, and thads it,however you can zoom while recording.

Iff you stay at ISO 64 as long as possible the pictures are good, somtimes even exelent, and for $ 150 you wil not find anny camera thad to better.
the biggest problem is thad the camera is slow, when you try to capture for example birds,it is simple not possible to get an bird in focus, exept if the bird sit still.

The camera is limit to statics pictures, then it perform verry wel.
Wat I found.
1.Exelent qalitie pictures of static objects,at lowest ISO
2.good LCD and viewfinder.
3.long batterie live.
4.verry portable.
5.easy in use.
6.good flash pictures
7.F button is welcome.

Problems: Not so good.
1.wierd structure of menus.
2.when viewing an picture you have to press the shutter button.
3.High ISO is an joke.
4.To slow for moving objects.
5.Wierd power button, slide to start up,Slide to stop
6.control dials having wierd options.
7.No viewfinder diopter.
8.movie mode not great.
