Opinion: I had this camera since Nov 2006, I didn't like it. Wouldn't format the camera at all and it has only 9 pics in it and when using SD card, the numbers are not right...I wouldn't recommend for you to buy it at all...
I like HP Photosmart M407 better than this M525!!

Problems: Wouldn't format the camera to get more pics

When using the 64MB SD, it only shows 50 instead of like 500 or 800 pics like they do in M407

Rechargeable batteries die fast after taking like 10 to 12 pics...

Opinion: I have had this camera for only about a week,,, seems good to me, have only took a dozen pictures so far, tried all the buttons, and they work fine,,, I used it with a HP Photoprinter and all works fine.. For the price SO far its fine.... but then again I have only had it for a week.

Problems: No problems so far

Opinion: Decent first time digital camera for what we paid for it. Camera has nice integration with software for your PC, makes editing photos rather quick and easy.

Problems: Low light picture taking is nearly non-existent, which severly limits the camera for indoor closeup photos without adding a bunch of light. Pictures sometimes look in focus on the screen, yet when you download them to you PC, they are in fact out of focus.

The little door that covers the USB connection port is quite flimsy, need to be real careful that you don't break it off. Otherwise the camera is realtively solid.
