Opinion: Good overall colours.

Problems: Short battery life. Power button too near to release button. Zoom lens slow and noisy.

Opinion: Easy to use and handle. Limited advanced features lends itself to a point and shoot style of use. Zoom lens is limited in range but better than nothing.

Problems: Fixed focus lense causes all shots past 20+ feet to seem out of focus (mainly because they are!) Camera takes great portrait type shots with good color rendition.

Opinion: Photos seems out of focus most of the time or just because the edges are never sharp.
Very grainy pictures can be easily arrived.

Opinion: I bought this camera in jan/99, it was my first digital and I was taking pictures right away. No Problems! It is great for portraits up to 5X7 for printing. Downloading from camera not too long.
