Opinion: I'd prob be sitting at home doing nothing.. Thou I have issues.. and had to give up two cameras.. and older Nikon 35mm and the newer Nikon N50 I found that this little wonder can take some extremely colorful pictures.. Thou its developed a few flaws and shuts off without warning.. I still have time to grab a few shots while out in the field.
I think if someone is just starting out and wants to us a smaller camera and graduate up to a more advance setup.. this Kodak could be the best thing you'll buy.. Until your ready for your next camera. For me it wasn't that I wanted a Kodak.. or the fact that I sort of scoffed at the idea of ever using one.. but ti was after all the only thing I could use at the time.
However, there was still one major issues with this camera and other smaller cameras today.. the typically four finger approach.. As a person who hands doesn't always cooperate.. I was dropping this camera.. and nearly whore out the string wrist strap. So I was again forced to create something a bit more durable. Taking an old Ski pole and cutting it up, I created a camera handle with a rigged wrist strap.
I've run into another issue now.. I feel the camera is on its last legs.. and we can't afford to get me a new one.. I've even registered with the Kodak site because of their giveaways and Kodak themselves have wished me luck on this latest giveaway..
So wish me luck as well.. so I can continue my photography.
Problems: Shuts Off Unexpectedly, Dark/black area in the top right hand corner of the view finder as well as the image..
Opinion: this camera is better then the canon sd790. i have been using cameras since 1999 my baby was born and i have change cameras every year twice or 4 times.
using the best brands.
i realized kodak is cheap and nice pictures.
