Opinion: A good and very convenient compact camera that does its job. Cheap and cheery. It is simplicity itself to use with no fancy never-ending menus and sub-menus.
It is ideal for: snap shooters, children, people who shoot only on automatic, people who must have a camera but cannot carry around a big specimen, travelers with restricted baggage.
The images are good enough for all but the most exigent. Not recommended for taking pictures in museums or large dark places unless you also have a tripod.
I am enjoying it and would recommend it.

Problems: No problems really but the zooming control feels as if it is coming off any moment.
It would benefit from a camera shake reducing feature although it has a camera shake warning.

Opinion: I shoot zoos and I wanted a small digital to have around my neck to capture people-kids, without changing my 80 200 from my D200 and this is a fun camera to use.
I could not have found a better little camera for my use.

Problems: No problems,
