Opinion: Features are great. Very easy to use as the buttons are very accessable. But the image quality is surprisingly poor.
Problems: Image Quality
Opinion: Picture quality is exelent !
First I was very disappointed because picture quality whitch
I have seen, was poor, but I understood that problem is in my
videocart.
When I printed photo on the paper I saw real high quality !
I wached pictures with MAC,and result was -very high quality
Opinion: Significantly better feel than the Canon G2 in terms of weight, and grip which is rubberised. The manual focusing option is excellent although auto focusing is rather slow in very poor lighting conditions.
Motion video is the best I have so far and the time limit is limited by the size of the memory card instead of the usual 30 seconds or 1 minute recording as offered by other digicams.
Recording of images at 4 megapixels in fine mode was very quick with the supplied SD card but significantly slower when used with a Sandisk MMC card.
The leica lens gives superb contrast and colour rendition. What more could one ask for ? Perhaps I should try comparing it with one of Sony's Digicams equipped with a Carl Zeiss lens. :)
Problems: None.
Opinion: EXCELENT PICTURES IN NATURAL LIGHT, HOWEVER THE CAMERA HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME WITH INCADECENT LIGHTING, THERE IS AN ORANGE TINT WHEN PHOTOGRAPHING IN THIS TYPE OF LIGHT. I HAVE TRIED ALL TRICKS TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM, NO LUCK
IMAGE QUALITY WOULD BE A 5.O WITHOUT THIS PROBLEM.
