Opinion: This is a fantastic camera. I conducted mass research before purchasing and this camera was one of my top 3. I purchased this camera a week ago at a fantastic price and have been so happy with it. I coundn't pass up on the deal. The images so far look great at any size and I have played with all the settings to prove it.

Problems: If you don't like smaller sizes, you may not like this one. However, if you prefer smaller as a matter of convienance than this one is perfect for you.

Opinion: Not had it long, handles well, takes good clear images with excellent colours. Very easy to use, excellent family camera and very fast operation. Once used at top quallity you never want to go lower but makes for large files...

Sample picture:

(unprocessed from camera, 1.73 meg)

(lightened and sharpened, 1.04 meg)

Problems: Seems to underexpose slightly, correctable by using compensation or by adjusting midtones later. 16 meg card is a joke with a 3.3 megapixel camera.

Opinion: This is a superb, easy to use, point and shoot ultra compact device which delivers quick, easy results for even the novice photographer - me!

Recommended.

Only criticism is the pathetic 16MB CF card included in the retail package. With a 3.3MP camera, this doesn't amount to many pictures. Also, a case would have been nice.

Problems: None so far.

Opinion: A great little camera!

Though it's compact and fits in my purse or pocket incognito, it's packed with features. More than I normally use. What drew me to get this camera was that it is automatic and simple enough for me (and others) to use, yet also allows for settings to be controlled.

The camera boasts 3.2 megapixels and it delivers. I've printed 8 x 10 pictures and the detail is superb. The images are sharp and the colors are very accurate. I haven't used the 3D image setting but I've seen a sample image of it at the store and it looks really cool! I can create those now!

I've demo'd friends' (older) digital cameras before and the reason I've resisted getting one was that 'delay', experienced when taking a picture. With the 33GS there is very minimal, if any, delay when taking a shot (I honestly don't even notice any delay). And the delay between shots (when the data gets written to the card) is very short. There's also a 'Continuous Shooting' mode that allows for taking continuous subsequent pictures, but I haven't tried this yet.

I am very please with this camera and can't imagine having bought any other. Honest.
