Opinion: Overall superb camera for feature functionality/value equation. Excellent image quality during viewing and printed photos; superb range of manual controls for those who want them while leaving the auto mode for those who don't. Some slight issues with dark shots indoors while focusing with monitor on. Resposiveness at start up and between pics is excellent. Optical 5x zoom makes great difference and close-up ability is exactly what this novice was looking for.
Problems: Not really a problem, but the whole camera just has a bit of a "cheap" feel to it. I may be image conscious, but the fonts and graphics on the camera seem, I don't know, toy-like or toss offs. The feeling is hard to describe, but it's there when you're looking the unit over. It just seems somewhat shoddy.
Opinion: excellent !
Problems: aucun problemes
Opinion: Fantastic imagequality matches best canon cameras
closeupphoto 2cm ..unbeatable The update from the 550
shortens startuptime significally (only problem last model)
Great battery time. 5times optical zoom I think its simply the best compact out there today Should be a bestseller!
Problems: Cant find anything annoying yet
Opinion: Excelent upgrade from550: quick start up time, and no niose in low light!
The imagequality is amazing!
This small compact camera take pictures that will look make you like a profesional.
I was looking for the best purchase since 3 month and finaly I think I made the best solution with 555. This is my third digcamera.
I was looking:
-Nicon 5400 and 5700: to expensive, low battery life and for me this is not compac,
-Olympus 750: exelent zoom but bad construction
-Sony DSC-V1:exelent night shots but in other circumstances....no comment
I think this is the best compact camaera on the market now.....
Problems: The only problem is that...you have to buy a biger memory card...
