Opinion: All In (little) One
This is an awesome ultra compact digital camera.
Very nice images especially in outdoors, user manual is flexible enough for a wide range of photographers, very small very fast and in my opinion is the best travel companion in the market yet a title which my latest cameras (Fuji 602, Olympus c-750 Minolta f300) don’t give a fair fight to this J1EX model.

The movie abilities are extraordinary, 8 movie clips modes available fro VGA/30 fps to 116/15 frames all accompanied with optical zoom.

I had never expected 'Sanyo' to offer such a gadget; they have proved that more for less is not a fantasy equation.

I looking forward Sanyo's next ultra compact with greater zoom and resolution combined with the J1 movie abilities.

Problems: No in photo date mark.
Problems with taking pictures/movies when there are noticeable contrast gaps.
Movie clips are shaking (no stabilizer)

Opinion: I bought this camera for the Video feature (640x480 at 15fps and 30fps with sound) and ended up keeping it and returned the Minolta G500 (which is one heck of a camera.) The video that it produces is as good as I've seen for a digital camera. The pictures is aslo excellent, very vivid and life like. I also use it as a scanner by taking pictures of the articles that I find interest and print them at home. Much cheaper and less hassle than using the copy machine. Now I carry it with my all the time in my jean's pocket. Loving it. Highly recommended.

Problems: None

Opinion: This is my fourth digital camera.
It is small enough to put in my pocket, has a fast response time. The Picture quality is great. The ability to capture video at 30 frames jpeg is great. No other camera in this price range comes close.
Its my new companion!

Problems: None so far

Opinion: Incredibly fast – great for action shots. Pull out aim and shoot. Already the camera is ready for the next scene. The internal lens super sharp and the colors deliver reality. Bought it for the video like it for the image quality. 5+

Opinion: Pros:
Best camera in it’s category. Compact and light, great movie quality (the best out there) good stills, if you are not expecting EOS 1 Ds results, very smooth and fast operation.
Sanyo the biggest digital camera manufacture (over 30% of total digital camera’s production - most in OEM) choose the very best to it’s small wonder. Highly recommended.
Cons:
Sanyo could have done better with the outer look of the camera.
Power ON button may get turned on when inserted into the pocket, if not careful. Personally I use a small case to solve the problem.

Opinion: Camera very complete, makes video to 640x480, 320x240 or 160x120 at 30fps or 15 fps, very fast and very compact, the zoom lens is optical but internal. Good resolution and sharpness images.

A good election for the vacations

Problems: none
