Opinion: I've used it for almost 1 1/2y now, and it's such a good camera with little reputation. It's compact enough to fit in your pocket, and there's virtually no waiting time. I love the fact, it takes 2 standard batteries too. Better performance with NiMH 1500.
Problems: I always wished it made some kind of noise when photos are taken. When I ask someone to take picture of me, they're confused if the picture's taken or not...
Opinion: This is one tough little camera. I have droped it twice once from a ladder only bounced. I bought this about a year ago and have used it extensively. I have no negative coments about it. Good starter camera or just a point and shoot.
Opinion: Very easy to use (open the lens cover, point and shoot)
Quick response (less than 2 second interval for regular shoot)

You can take movie
Good image quality/color under sunlight
Great LCD display
Problems: No Tripod mount (need to hold tight in indoor due to slow shutter speed)
Very noisy image & inaccurate color in indoor
Quite high JPEG compression ratio in SC1 mode
takes upto 16MB Smartmedia
Very poor battery life (Unless you are used to use optical viewfinder, you need to use LCD display)
Opinion: Très bonne caméra digitale.Solide construction et caméra
compacte.Fait de bonnes photos et des vidéo clip.
Ecran LCD de deux pouces.
Problems: Pas de monture pour trepied
