Opinion: Bought this one from amazon.de for 199 EUROS !!! ;-)
Great little all-around camera with verry good video mode (640x480@30fps) and
average to good image mode (indoor) and verry good image mode (outdoor, normal
to sunny conditions).
Superb photo cataloging system in-camera (up to 1100 images stored on-board
memory), easy to access, use and show up at television via the included craddle.
Excellent easy use of all modes, fast startup mode and also fast choose of recording
modes: image or movie.
Good construction of aluminium body.
Nice and eye catching shape form, more like a mobile phone (see SonyEricsson
W900i).
Definitivly satisfied with this camera, especially for this price !!!

Problems: Battery runs pretty fast down (about 120 minutes at full charge).
Zoom lever hilaryouse small and bad designed, relatively hard to use.
Opinion: Hard to take a clear pic without flash..everthing blurs, but who I am kidding the video on this thing is pretty cool and thats all it's good for.
Opinion: I purchased this camera for the video more than the photo feature. I have been very happy with the video quality of this camera. The photo side leaves a little to be desired. The auto settings are fine for most pictures but in odd light or action shots it could be better. Especially for the price. My previous camera was a Sony DSC-P9 and that took better pictures than this one. Like I said, I got this more for the video than the photo and I have been pretty happy with that.
I find it kind of annoying that you have to either use the cradle or remove the memory stick and use a card reader to transfer the photos. I would have liked to see a USB connection on the camera itself.
The camera will also not stand by itself on a flat surface. You will need to have some kind of tripod if you wish to take those types of photos.
Problems: Did have an odd problem with the docking device losing connection with my PC for no apparent reason. I was able to resolve this myself by removing the device and then uninstalling all of the software and reinstalling.
Opinion: Very useful and easy to use. Very good image quality, very good color, noise acceptable. Nice movie modes. Think about it if you want a compact good digital camera and a solid state TV-quality videocamera.

Opinion: I went out of my way to get one of these to replace my M1 that was damaged. This is no upgrade from the M1!
Problems: M1 took better video in low light rooms. Redeye is horrible and indoor pictures usually come out grainy.
