Opinion: This camera is supposed to take indoor pictures without a flash? WRONG! The indoor pictures without a flash are completely grainy when taken with higher ISO or totally blurry with lower ISO and the colors are no where near accurate!
Problems: High ISO pictures are totally grainy and what is supposed to be white looks orange/pink. Sony says indoor pictures are supposed to look natural? Not a chance!
Opinion: LOVE this CAMERA !!!
I have MANY digital cameras..I just received my T9
(in Black) and LOVE it...Gave my Nikon S3 to my daughter..and Kept the P1..
The T9 shoots quickly...has great quality...and I am VERY pleased with it. Also have the N1 and the P200....as well as the T1
However..will not leave home without my T9
Good JOB Sony....
Problems: NONE
Opinion: You will love this camera if you don't take indoor pictures! The size of the camera is nice and the image stabilizer seems to work well in bright light. With a memory stick pro duo video quality is pretty good for its size. However.....
Problems: Indoor shots have been fair to poor. When using flash the exposure is pretty good but the flash seems to light up dust specks in the air which appear as little white dots in the picture, also red-eye in people is very bad and the red-eye reduction flash adds a long delay before taking the picture and between shots. Without a flash the pictures look yellow and almost every picture comes out noisy and blurry even with the image stabilizer on. I wish I read these reviews before buying this camera, I think I'll exchange this camera and try the Sony P200 as the reviews seem to be very good.
Opinion: Keep looking…for the money the T9 in my opinion does not deliver. In bright sunlight the results are not bad. In any situation where light is poor so are the images. The size appeals and is very handy for taking to parties etc. but what’s the point when the images only look OK on the cameras LCD. I purchased this camera for use while snow skiing. The size made it easy to carry around but I now wish I had bought the Coolpix 7600 as I had intended.
Sony are resting on their name here.
Problems: As already stated.
Poor images in anything less than good sunlight. I also experienced the lighting up of dust with the flash. Red eye is bad whenever using the flash. This can be edited out but you do not want to have to do it on every shot!
