Opinion: Very good quality with excellent clarity.
Have been able to shoot very amazing pictures without any real problems with settings.
Pixels are so good that touch up is required to fine tune some subjects.
Really excellent cam for the value.
Problems: Red eye in close ups
Opinion: After owning a sony fd 87 for 2 yrs I updated my camera with a prd 65. I returned the camera back after 3 days for the very fact that the aa battery life was lack luster. I did not even the chace to shoot more than 3 pictures and the battery drained on me. I turned on the camera for about 30 min and went thru the setup functions. I took 3 images and needed to replace the batteries. The picture quality was excellent. The image editor software bundle was bad, I would not install it.
Opinion: I'm glad I took advantage of the $100 rebate offered by Toshiba, makes me feel better, since it does have some draw-backs. Over-all, though, I like the camera. Batteries go quick, so I'm getting some rechargables. The 1 to 2 sec delay on shutter to image capture could be improved. All software, cables, etc worked right out of the box. Toshiba has just issued a 128M Flash Media download.
Problems: The battery door is difficult to open and close, poor design.
You can actually see part of the lense when you look thru the view finder!
Opinion: Are you kidding me ? - a 3 meg camera for $499.99. What a great value - easy to use, fantastic picture quality and rugged construction. Thanks Toshiba.
Problems: None
