Opinion: Prior to my vacation in 2002, I purchased this camera as an upgrade to a 1.3MP Toshiba PDR-M1. While the pictures were much sharper, the colors were absolutely dreadful. I sold the camera on eBay immediately once I returned. Some pictures came out fine, but most are unbearable for me to look at. I replaced this camera with a Sony DSC-S85, a camera superior in every way.

Problems: Colors are not very accurate.

Opinion: BARGAIN @ $258 I don't like the battery compartment, Its hard to open and shut. I had some trouble getting th camera to work, but I left the batteries in all night, and suddenly its like nothing was ever wrong with it, who knows, maybe it was the change of weather lol. I LOVE the Picture Clarity, although the colora are accurate, they are a little dull. BUY A RECHARGER!!! I took like 30 Pics and the batteries died. This camera is awesome for the money.

Problems: Battery Door, Battery Life, Weight, Lens Covers 1/8th of viewfinder when not in zoom. Otherwise This camera is awesome, I cant complain, it only cost me $258 on EbaY

Opinion: If you like quality pictures with accurate color stay far away from this little camera. Indoor colors are always palid and off. My son's blond hair consistantly comes out green. I spend hours tweaking pics on with the software.

Resolution is good but don't let that fool you this is a junk product. There not enough settings in Manual more. there are other 2-3 meg cameras in the pirce range. check them out. I sold this camera for a huge loss just to unload it. Looking at the Epson 3100Z or the Olympus 3020 you might want to as well.

Construction is cheesy. the only good point, built in lens cover. once again AVOID THIS CAMERA (and maybe other toshiba products my DVD player went into the shop after one month)

Problems: First two cameras did not work at all right out of the box had to use a demo model until the store could get on in. Battery cover is a pain (batteries won't fall out though) Can see lens casing in view finder. Red Eye flash mode doesn't help just makes the shot take longer.

Opinion: Easy to use out of box. Good quality pictures in good light. Reasonable battery life. Easy to review pictures after shot. Easy to download to computer after getting setup. Had a minor problem with loading software.

Problems: Poor battery compartment design. Door very difficult to close after loading batteries. Red eye a problem. Poor focus in low light such as a Christmas tree.

Opinion: Great price for this camera and good
resolution on pictures. Flash typically poor
for low light pictures. Colors not always
right. Software pretty good.

Problems: No problems

Opinion: Very easy to use and take great pics. Worked right out of the box. Nice size and seems durable. Screen is difficult to see in sunlight so a view finder is a must. Battery life with no-mem rechargeables is really good. Setup and function changes are easy. Selectable ISO rating is invaluable. Good value for the money.

Problems: Battery door is difficult to operate and flimsy
Can see lens casing thru the view finder
Shutter lag needs improvement
