Opinion: Good camera for the price with lots of features. I find it a little bulky though. I like the video capture mode and the fact that pictures can be resized in the camera.

Opinion: The camera was selling for only 599.99 (canadian dollars) can't beat it for the features at that price. It is very easy to use, the camera's interface will be entirely intuative to those who have only a little experience with digital cameras. From my experience with over a half dozen cameras over the years this one takes, by far, the best images. On the down side the LCD screen is a bit small .

Opinion: As with the other posted review I as well purchased it for $599 Canadian. The camera is loaded with features, easy to use and the pictures taken so far are great. I am yet to experiment with the complete suite of manual settings. Hard to beat for the price.

Problems: Macro with flash seems over-saturated
